System Requirements Pagenews runs on *nix - Systems (Posix) such as Linux. It has been tested on Debian/GNU-Linux, but should work on allmost any Linux distribution. Perl 5 is required. Pagenews does not need any database system. For sending newsletter e-mails, an mail transfer agent such as BSD Sendmail, Postfix or Exim is required. The client must, at least for using the administration panel, use a modern browser that supports Javascript. Therefore, we recommend a gecko-based browser such as Firefox. |
